Greater Washington.jpg

greater washington chapter - virtual book clubs

The Greater Washington Chapter of VSLA will be hosting four virtual book clubs based on the Virginia Readers' Choices Program. Teachers, librarians, and students read up to 10 books in a level and are invited to vote on awarding one of the books at each level. For more information on the program visit Virginia Readers’ Choice.

Each group will meet the first time and experience book talks for all 10 titles. The second meeting will be a discussion of any and/or all of the first five titles at your level. Participants should feel welcome to come even if they have only read some of the titles. The last session will focus on the last 5 titles. Due to the brevity of the primary titles, the primary group will meet twice.

VSLA members (all local chapters) may participate for free. Guests will be charged $10 per group participation.
