Q: What does the registration fee include?

A: The registration fee helps to offset the cost of the facility, audiovisual equipment, coffee, breaks, the speakers and their travel expenses.


Q: Are any meals included?

A: Coffee and a light continental breakfast are offered each morning. Beverages and coffee will be available during afternoon breaks.


Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: Cancellation requests must be emailed to amanda@sswmeetings.com by February 8, 2025. A $75 processing fee will be deducted from the amount paid. Refunds are not available after February 8. Cancelled registrations may be transferred to another attendee until February 24, 2025.


Q: Will I receive continuing education credits?

A: Fifteen hours of instruction will be provided. Attendees will receive an attendance certificate indicating that 15 hours were earned.


Q: What volunteer opportunities are available?

A: Registration, room monitors, counting participants in sessions, helping attendees locate conference rooms, helping attendees with the app.


Q: What is the best way to travel to the conference?

A: It depends on your starting point; however, be sure to check Amtrak.com if you live near a train station. Amtrak’s rates are very reasonable and the train station in Roanoke is across the street from the conference venue.

Q: Is shuttle service available from the overflow hotels to Hotel Roanoke.

A: No, you are responsible for your transportation to and from Hotel Roanoke.


Q: Will all sessions be recorded for later viewing?

A: Yes, selected sessions will be recorded and will be available for viewing two weeks post conference. Viewing instructions will be emailed to conference participants.


Q: Is there a dress code for the event?

A: Casual attire is acceptable.
